Providing you with healthy options is something your dining team proudly does every day. We help you select delicious, nutritious and satisfying meals, snacks and desserts by highlighting well-balanced menu choices and providing nutritional information and tips to help you make choices that fit your needs.
As a FARE certified school, we take pride in serving you wholesome ingredients, preparing recipes accurately and providing nutritional analysis and ingredient statements through our online menus and nutrition calculator. From our general manager to our front line servers, we work carefully to address food allergies, celiac diets, or other special dietary needs.
We want to meet one-on-one with anyone who has individual dining needs to ensure that your dining experience is safe, delicious, and social. If you have a food allergy/special diet concern and wish to meet with a AllerTrain Certified Sodexo staff member you can begin the process by filling out the Food Allergy, Diet & Nutrition Accommodation Form here. As well, you can email us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or send us a note using the feedback form.
Meet The Dietitian
Lela Fausze, MS, RDN, LDN; has been assigned to the Sodexo Westmont Team as our campus dietitian and has been working with Westmont students as well as ODS & Health Services and the dining team to ensure that every student has access to a healthy campus lifestyle. Lela has a passion for empowering people of all ages to reach their healthiest potential through food and nutrition. She works with students, faculty, and staff throughout the country to encourage a healthy and holistic lifestyle. Lela leads nutrition design for Sodexo's THE CIRCUIT, an athletic performance offer that provides science-based nutrition, pristine performance spaces, and targeted engagement that enables optimal physcial, mental, and emotional performance for student athletes. This past summer, Lela worked with the Chicago Bears training camp, ensuring that the NFL players get the proper nutrition to train their best.
The Gluten Intolerant Options Program (G.I.O.) was designed to allow students with a gluten dietary restriction to swipe for a gluten-free item at no-additional charge. Students on this program must submit proper documentation and be approved by the Campus Dietitian. Students not on this program can still get gluten-free items at dining locations by simply paying an additional fee.
My Zone is our campus “pantry” where food items needed by students with Celiac disease or nut allergies are stored and prepared with precautions against cross-contact. This area is free of tree nut, peanut and gluten-containing ingredients and products.
To receive a key to the My Zone pantry please fill out the Food Allergy, Diet & Nutrition Accommodation Form and a Sodexo manager will set a time to meet for your My Zone Orientation. Please plan to set aside 30 minutes for the orientation, this gives us the opportunity to tailor your dining experience to meet your specific nutrition needs.
Simple Servings is our allergen-safe, dining option for our customers with food allergies or gluten intolerance. This station offers food free from peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, wheat, soy, milk products, eggs, and gluten-containing ingredients. Simple Servings staff members are carefully trained to avoid cross-contact with food allergens.
Simple Servings is open Monday-Friday for both lunch and dinner, open Saturday & Sunday for dinner only.
